CENTRAL MARKETS involves 9 organisations from 6 countries (Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and the Slovak Republic) constituting a well-balanced partnership which focuses their action at local or regional level: 4 Municipalities, 2 Developing Agencies, 1 Chamber of Commerce, 1 Region, 1 private institution.

Local authorities (City of Venice, Municipality of Turin, City of Bratislava, City of Krakow) and regional authorities (Usti Region) play a key role in the development of the traditional market sector and ensure that different government levels are involved. Two Develpment Agency (Pécs Development Agency and Maribor Development Agency) ensure effective links with local and regional actors and provide excellent opportunities for dissemination and transferability.


The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Veszprém will provide all partners with expertise in cooperating with potential investors in the elaboration and implementation of economic development processes and will contribute to improving the strategic link between SMEs and traditional markets.


The Conservatory of Mediterranean Food from Piedmont will play a transversal role contributing with their local and transantional expertise in awareness campaigns, organisation of training activities and production of techinical studies.
